Saturday September 16
This is going to be our last stop. I think we’ll feel a big sense of relief when we get to this pretty New South Wales town – albeit with a heavy heart that the Classic Road Trip is nearly over.
If you’ve not been to Bowral before, it’s nice – I mean nice with a capital N. It sits in the NSW Southern Highlands about 2 hours south of Sydney, near the Hume Highway. You’ve got antiques shops, nice pubs (obviously I’m more interested in the antiques shops) and a bit of Australian history that I’m planning to share with you.
I’m looking forward to doing my show from the Childhood home of Sir Donald Bradman. Greta will be joining me for a morning of music and local stories. Thanks if you registered interest in coming to this event, we’ll be in touch shortly to let you know if you got one of the tickets. It’s a tiny house so unfortunately we can’t all fit (even without the Tuba). If you missed out I hope to meet you some time soon. If you’d like to listen tune in to Breakfast and Mornings on Saturday and follow #classicroadtrip on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
